ROLES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Inspires and motivates students to become world-class nursing assistants by providing an educational,
challenging, positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
2. Teaches the 120-hour nursing assistant training program outlined in the syllabus and instructor’s guide in a
classroom and skilled nursing facility setting, utilizing engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different
learning styles.
3. Develop students’ clinical skills to prepare them to pass their licensure exam and excel in their careers.
4. Maintains accurate records on all students, including attendance records, schedules, and course requirements
regarding hours of instruction and content.
5. Evaluate and document student progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skills attained, and
provide feedback to help guide their development.
6. Provides guidance and mentorship to students, including career advice and emotional support, fostering
community and collaboration.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and trends and integrate them into the course curriculum to
ensure students receive the most current and relevant education.
8. Collaborates with clinical training facilities to ensure students receive adequate hands-on training and experience
and communicate effectively with all the course members.
9. Participates in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching
skills and stay current with industry standards.
10. Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations and ethical and professional standards of conduct.
11. Handles administrative tasks such as grading papers, managing student files, and ordering supplies as needed,
allowing for a streamlined and efficient learning experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

1. 3+ Years experience as a licensed registered nurse, practical nurse
2. 3+ years experience teaching or supervising nursing assistants in a healthcare setting.
3. 3+ years experience using office software such as Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or similar administrative tools.
Compensation: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
